By using PDFlash ("the service"), you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

What PDFlash does

PDFlash processes PDF documents you upload and uses an AI model (OpenAI GPT-4o) to generate study summaries, flashcards, and practice exam questions for educational purposes.

Acceptable use

You may use PDFlash only for lawful educational purposes. You may not:

• Upload content that infringes copyright or that you do not have the right to share.
• Use the service to generate content intended to deceive, harm, or mislead others.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the service.
• Share, resell, or distribute your subscription access.

Accuracy disclaimer

PDFlash uses AI to generate study material. The output may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. Do not rely on AI-generated content as a substitute for professional medical, clinical, or legal advice. Always verify important information against authoritative sources. We are not responsible for any decisions made based on AI-generated content.

Subscription and billing

• Subscriptions are billed monthly at $7 USD plus applicable local taxes.
• Payments are processed by Paddle.com on our behalf.
• You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods, except where required by law.

Free tier

Free users receive 2 PDF generations. The free tier is provided as-is and may be modified or withdrawn at any time.

Intellectual property

You retain ownership of any content you upload. The AI-generated output (summaries, flashcards, questions) belongs to you for personal educational use. You may not commercially redistribute generated content.

Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may suspend or discontinue the service with reasonable notice.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PDFlash is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Spanish courts.

Changes

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
